With rapid network development, businesses demand higher bandwidth, lower latency, increased reliability, and reduced O&M costs. However, traditional multi-layer copper cable architectures struggle to support large-scale device access, service convergence, and future expansion.

Asterfusion offers an innovative all-optical wireless-wired convergence solution. This solution leverages PON MAC in SFP technology and a simplified two-tier architecture to enable OLT-free optical access and centralized intelligent management. It significantly boosts deployment efficiency and network flexibility, empowering enterprises to build high-performance, future-ready campus networks.

Solution Architecture

Each CX202P-24S-M-H switch provides 24 single 10G optical ports, and by adjusting the optical distribution network (ODN) split ratio—8, 16, or 32 splits per port—it supports progressively larger numbers of APs.

Open and Flexible Ecosystem

The Asteria network controller supports third-party APs that are compliant with OpenWiFi standards, allowing easy integration and management of multi-vendor wireless devices. This flexibility avoids vendor lock-in and future-proofs your network.
