Generic Compatible 400G to 400G ACC Cable (3-7m, Active, QSFP-DD to QSFP-DD, 26 – 30AWG)
Generic Compatible 400G to 400G ACC Cable (3-7m, Active, QSFP-DD to QSFP-DD, 26 – 30AWG)
The QSFP-DD 400G active copper cable assembly provides 400G Data transmission up to 7m over 26AWG cable. The active DAC connects data signals from each of the 16 pairs on the single QSFP-DD end to the other QSFP-DD end. Each pair supports a 50Gb/s data rate which can be adaptive downward compatibility. The QSFP-DD cable fully complies with QSFP-DD and IEEE802.3cd. It operates on a 3.3V power supply and the typical power consumption is 2.5W. Built-in linear equalizer to compensate for data transmission loss. The active DAC cable is low latency and cost-effectiveness. It is ideal for high-speed data centers, AI training, and machine learning.

Questions & Answers
Can I use the 400G Active Copper Cable with other devices?
It will work perfectly as long as both devices have QSFP-DD ports and can handle 400Gbps data rates. The best things to use it for are fast devices like servers, routers, and switches in data centres.
Can I use the 400G Active Copper Cable for 200G or 100G connections?
Yes, the 400G QSFP-DD ACC can often be downshifted to work with lower data rates (like 200G or 100G), However, ensure the cable’s specifications align with the desired speed.
Does the 400G Active Copper Cable need maintenance?
The cable is made of durable materials so it can be used for a long time in a normal data centre. But it should be kept safe from too much physical stress, like pulling or folding too tightly, which could damage the electronics inside. Little upkeep is needed. Check for wear and damage and secure the cable for best operation. Avoid excessive cable bending or coiling.
