Asterfusion 400G OSFP SR8 MMF optical transceiver module has been specially designed to meet the challenging demands of artificial intelligence training fabrics and hyperscale data centers or high-performance computer environments. This optical module provides an aggregate 425 Gbps data rate via eight full-duplex, independent channels that each operate at 53.125 Gbps.
Built on the proven technology based on 850nm VCSEL and featuring the latest 8-channel photo-detector array, this transceiver is able to transmit distances of up to 100 meters across OM3 multi-mode fibers that include forward error correction that ensures reliability even in the most demanding network situations. Hot-pluggable OSFP design, paired with MPO-16 connectivity as well as comprehensive Digital Diagnostic capabilities, provides users with the ability to monitor and adjust their settings needed to ensure seamless deployment and continuous maintenance.
