The Asterfusion 40G QSFP+ Active Optic Cables (AOCs) are fiber assemblies designed for direct attachment, featuring QSFP+ connectors. These AOCs adhere to the QSFP MSA, 40G Ethernet IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4, and InfiniBand SDR/DDR/QDR standards, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
These cables are specifically engineered for short-distance connections within and between racks, offering a cost-effective solution. The 40G QSFP+ AOC consists of four full-duplex lanes, with each lane capable of transmitting data at rates up to 10.3Gb/s. The aggregated data rate reaches 41.2Gb/s.
Using OM3 multimode fiber (MMF), these AOCs can span distances of up to 300 meters, providing ample reach for various setups and configurations.
