The Asterfusion 400G OSFP-RHS SR4 optical transceiver is a 400Gb/s OSFP112 flat top transceiver module engineered for short-reach multimode fiber links in high-density data centers. It converts 4 lanes of 106.25Gb/s PAM4 electrical input into 4 parallel 850nm optical channels, and performs the reverse conversion on the receive side, delivering an aggregate data rate of 425Gb/s over a single MPO-12 APC connector. With FEC enabled, the module reaches up to 100m on OM4 fiber (60m on OM3), and is fully compliant with the 400GBASE-SR4 (IEEE 802.3db) and CMIS 5.0 specifications, supporting both 400GAUI-4 Ethernet and InfiniBand NDR deployments. Running off a single +3.3V power rail with power dissipation held under 8W, the flat top (no heat sink) OSFP112 form factor is well suited to high port-density switch and NIC platforms. Built-in digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) gives real-time visibility into supply voltage, case temperature, and per-lane transmit/receive optical power, while the module operates reliably across the full commercial case-temperature range of 0°C to +70°C. RoHS-compliant throughout, it’s a cost-effective, drop-in choice for 400G Ethernet, InfiniBand, and AI/HPC fabric interconnects.
