MSA Compatible 400GBASE SR4 QSFP-DD Optical Transceiver Module (850nm, 60m/OM3, 100m/OM4, MPO12/APC, MMF)
It is a parallel, fiber-optic QSFPDD double-density that can be plugged in and used for 400 Gigabit Ethernet applications. This transmitter is a powerful module for connecting and communicating data over short distances with multiple lanes. This module can convert 8 channels of 53.125 Gbit/s electrical data into 4 parallel channels of optical signals, each sending 106.25 Gbit/s of data. On the other hand, it can convert 106.25 Gbit/s visual signals with 4 channels into 8 channels of electrical output data on the receiver side. With OM3 fiber, each lane can operate up to 60m, and with OM4 fiber with FEC, it can operate up to 100m. These optical modules are made to work with multimode fiber systems that use an 850nm wavelength. A 12-fiber MTP (MPO) connector is used for the optical interface. The CMIS specification for QSFPDD modules, which stands for the Common Management Interface, 400G SR4 module uses proven circuit and VCSEL technology that has been shown to work well, last a long time, and provide stable service.

Questions & Answers
What is a QSFP-DD 400G SR4 transceiver?
QSFP-DD 400G SR4 can handle data rates of up to 400 Gigabits per second. It is made for short-reach data centers and corporate networks and uses SR4 (Short Reach 4-lane) technology.
What is the maximum transmission distance of the QSFP-DD 400G SR4?
This 400GBASE SR4 transceiver module can send up to 60 meters of OM3 multimode fiber and 100 meters of OM4 multimode fiber.
What does QSFP-DD mean?
A Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable Double Density is what QSFP-DD stands for. This is the newest version of the QSFP form factor, and it has twice as many modules as a regular QSFP module.
