Asterfusion CX204P-24S-M-H is a 24×10G SFP+ aggregation switch equipped with 4×100G QSFP28 uplink ports, designed for campus networks, enterprise networks, and cloud service provider deployments. Built on the Marvell Aldrin 2 chipset in a compact 1RU form factor, it delivers both high performance and port density.
Powered by the commercial SONiC NOS – AsterNOS, this Layer 3 switch supports a comprehensive set of Layer 2/Layer 3 features, including mainstream routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, as well as advanced capabilities like VXLAN, BGP-EVPN, MLAG, and IPv6. Optional support for PTP and MPLS makes it suitable for high-performance, low-latency, and time-sensitive applications.
Within network architectures, the CX204P-24S-M-H is typically deployed as a distribution/aggregation switch. In small to mid-sized campus networks, it can also be used in a collapsed-core design, enabling a simplified yet efficient core layer deployment.
