The CX104S-8MT24GT-M-S is a non-PoE switch with 8 × 2.5GBase-T ports, 24 × 1GBase-T ports, and 4 × 10G SFP+ ports. It delivers a switching capacity of 86Gbps and is powered by the Marvell Prestera (AlleyCat5Y) ASIC. Its maximum power consumption is 50W (without PoE). Powered by AsterNOS, an enterprise-grade SONiC distribution, the switch supports a wide range of Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, as well as MC-LAG and IPv6. This access switch provides a compact and cost-effective solution for campus networks, SMBs, and enterprise networks.
