This 800G DR8 optical module supports 8×106.25Gbps(53.125GBd PAM4) electrical and optical connections. The silicon photonics transceiver is constructed on a silicon photonics (SiPh) platform. It employs SiPh processors that incorporate a variety of active and passive optoelectronic components, 3D packaging technology, and 7nm DSP chips. It has been engineered to withstand the most severe external operating conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and EMI interference. The lower power consumption is 18.5W and is RoHS-compliant.
