10GBASE BiDi Simplex LC Optical Transceiver Module(1270nmTX/1330nmRX, 10km, SMF)

The 10Gbps SFP+ BIDI transceiver is intended to transmit and receive optical data over single-mode optical fiber reaching up to 10 kilometers. This 10G transceiver with a single LC interface for duplex operation, offers effective bidirectional communication. This optical module utilizing a 1270nm DFB transmitter and 1330nm PIN receiver allows for high-speed data transmission. Its low-cost SFP+ approach allows for higher port densities and better bandwidth, meeting changing network demands. With an operating temperature range of 0 to +70°C (-40 to +85°C for industrial applications). Furthermore, this BiDi 10GbE module meets RoHS regulations and complies with IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR/LW standards, SFF-8431/SFF-8432, and SFF-8472 specifications. It is suitable for 10GBASE-LR/LW and network equipment connections.

    What does BiDi mean in SFP+ 10GBASE BiDi optical transceivers?
    BiDi means “bidirectional,” which means this SFP+ adapter sends and receives data over the same single-mode fiber (SMF). To keep signals on the same fiber from signal interference, it transmits at a different wavelength (1270nm) than it receives (1330nm).
    In what way does this transceiver’s BiDi technology allow it to reach 10 km?
