400GBASE LR4 QSFP DD Optical Transceiver Module (1310nm, 10km, LC, SMF)
400GBASE LR4 QSFP DD Optical Transceiver Module (1310nm, 10km, LC, SMF)
The QSFP DD LR4 400G is for 10km network connectivity applications. This module is designed to convert 8 channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data and turn them into 4 channels of CWDM optical signals and then multiplexed into a single channel for 400Gb/s optical transmission. On the other hand, the module optically demultiplexes a 400Gb/s optical input into 4 channels of CWDM optical signals and then changes them back into 8 channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical output data on the receiving side.
This optical module ensures that data is sent quickly and reliably by using 4 separate channels on CWDM4 with center bands of 1271nm, 1291nm, 1311nm, and 1331nm, operating at 100G per channel. There are 4 separate EML drivers and lasers in the transmitter path and an optical multiplexer. The receiver line has an optical de-multiplexer connected to a 4-channel photodiode array. Ideal for applications such as 400G-LR4-10, CEI-56G-VSR-PAM4, and data center networks.

FAQ
What is the meaning of 400GBASE LR4?
The 400GBASE LR4 transceiver module is designed for a 400 Gigabit per second (Gbps) transmission rate of 10 kilometers over SMF. Ideal for cloud computing deployments and data centers.
How does the 400G LR4 transceiver module work?
This module converts electrical signals into optical signals and vice versa. It smoothly transfers 8 channels of 50 Gbps electrical data and condenses them into 4 CWDM optical channels for 400 Gbps transmission over G.652 SMF with Forward Error Correction. The process is reversed at the receiving end for clear data transfer.
What are the applications of 400GBASE LR4?
This includes 400G-LR4 data center interconnects, HPC clusters, cloud computing, and enterprise data centers.
Does this transceiver module is eco-friendly?
RoHS compliance means it follows eco-friendly.
