400GBASE SR8 QSFP DD Transceiver Module 850nm, 100m(OM4, MPO16/APC, MMF)

The QSFP-DD 400G SR8 transceiver module is made for 400G Ethernet connections in data centers and other breakout uses. This optical module has eight lanes that can handle 425Gbps of data at a time. Each lane works at 53.125 Gbps. It works with different setups, from 1x 400GBASE-SR8 to 8x 25GBASE-SR, so that it can be used in a wide range of high-density networking situations. For example, 1x 400GBASE-SR8 with 400GAUI-8, 2x 200GBASE-SR4 with 200GAUI-4, 4x 100GBASE-SR2 with 100GAUI-2, 8x 50GBASE-SR with 50GAUI-1, 2x 100GBase-SR4 with CAUI-4, 8x 25GBase-SR with 25GAUI-1.
For short-range, high-bandwidth needs, this transmitter is ready for action. It can talk over up to 100 meters using OM4 fiber with forward error correction (FEC). The digital diagnostics tracking interface that comes with it lets you check the health and performance of the system in real time, making sure that it always works correctly. This unit can be hot-plugged and is designed to work quickly and use little power. The 400G QSFP-DD optical transceiver is an easy and inexpensive way to make your network more powerful and flexible.

FAQ

What is the difference between QSFP-DD and SFP+?
Data transmission pluggable transceiver modules include QSFP-DD and SFP+. However, QSFP-DD supports higher data speeds than SFP+. SFP+ offers 25Gbps per lane, however, QSFP-DD can handle 50Gbps, enabling 400Gbps.
How far is the 400G SR8 optical transceiver?

The 400G SR8 module can carry data up to 70 meters using OM3 fiber or 100 meters using OM4 fiber with FEC.

What QSFP-DD SR8 applications are available?

400 Gigabit Ethernet interconnects: Allows data center device connections at high rates.

Data centers: Connect servers, storage, and network switches with high bandwidth.

400G Breakout Applications: Supports various breakout configurations, including:

1x 400GBASE-SR8 with 400GAUI-8

2x 200GBASE-SR4 with 200GAUI-4

4x 100GBASE-SR2 with 100GAUI-2

8x 50GBASE-SR with 50GAUI-1

2x 100GBase-SR4 with CAUI-4

8x 25GBase-SR with 25GAUI-1

What are the power requirements?

This transceiver uses less than 8 watts from a single 3.3V power supply.

What is the operating temperature range?
